At Camera Avenue, we stand behind every product we sell. This page explains our warranty coverage and return policy in detail.

Product Warranty

Manufacturer's Warranty

All cameras and equipment purchased from Camera Avenue come with the full manufacturer's warranty. This means:

  • ✓ Your product is covered directly by the manufacturer (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.)
  • ✓ Warranty period varies by brand and model (typically 1-2 years)
  • ✓ Warranty documentation is included in the original packaging
  • ✓ Coverage includes manufacturing defects and workmanship issues
  • ✓ International warranty may apply (check with manufacturer)

What's Covered Under Warranty

Manufacturer warranties typically cover:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
  • Malfunctions under normal use conditions
  • Parts and labor for authorized repairs
  • Replacement if repair is not possible

What's NOT Covered Under Warranty

Manufacturer warranties typically do NOT cover:

  • ❌ Accidental damage (drops, impacts, liquid damage)
  • ❌ Normal wear and tear
  • ❌ Damage from misuse or abuse
  • ❌ Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • ❌ Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality
  • ❌ Damage from improper storage or environmental conditions
  • ❌ Lost or stolen items
  • ❌ Accessories (batteries, chargers, straps) - these may have shorter warranty periods

How to Use Your Warranty

Step 1: Keep your proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt) and warranty card

Step 2: If you experience a warranty-covered issue, contact the manufacturer's customer service directly

Step 3: The manufacturer will guide you through their warranty claim process

Step 4: You may need to send the product to an authorized service center

Note: Warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer, not by Camera Avenue. Each brand has its own warranty terms and service procedures.

Our 30-Day Return Policy

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. This gives you plenty of time to inspect your purchase and ensure it meets your expectations.

Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet ALL of the following conditions:

  • ✓ Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • ✓ In the same condition as received
  • ✓ Unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • ✓ All tags, labels, and protective films intact
  • ✓ In original packaging with all accessories
  • ✓ Includes all original items: camera, battery, charger, cables, straps, lens caps, manuals, warranty cards, etc.
  • ✓ Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

Important: Items that show signs of use, are missing accessories, or have damaged packaging may not be eligible for return or may be subject to a restocking fee.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items CANNOT be returned:

  • ❌ Sale or clearance items (marked as final sale)
  • ❌ Gift cards
  • ❌ Custom or special orders
  • ❌ Items damaged due to misuse or customer error
  • ❌ Items returned after 30 days

How to Return an Item

Step-by-Step Return Process

Step 1: Contact Us

Email us at aradhevx@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos of the item and packaging (if applicable)

Step 2: Wait for Approval

We'll review your request and respond within 24-48 hours. If approved, we'll send you:

  • Return authorization
  • Return shipping label (if applicable)
  • Return instructions

Step 3: Pack Your Return

  • Use the original packaging if possible
  • Include ALL original accessories and documentation
  • Pack securely to prevent damage during transit
  • Include a copy of your order confirmation

Step 4: Ship Your Return

  • Use the return label we provide (if applicable)
  • Ship to the address provided in our return authorization
  • Keep your shipping receipt and tracking number
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance

Step 5: Inspection & Refund

  • We'll inspect your return within 3-5 business days of receipt
  • You'll receive an email notification about the status
  • If approved, your refund will be processed

⚠️ Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will NOT be accepted.

Return Shipping Costs

Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • Defective or Wrong Item: We'll provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you
  • Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Damaged in Transit: We'll provide a prepaid return label

Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective product, etc.).

Refunds

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  1. Inspection: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
  2. Approval Notification: You'll receive an email if your refund is approved
  3. Refund Processing: Refund issued within 10 business days of approval
  4. Bank Processing: Allow 5-10 additional business days for your bank/credit card company to process the refund

Total Time: Expect 2-4 weeks from shipping your return to seeing the refund in your account.

Refund Method

Refunds are automatically issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit card refunds appear as a credit on your statement
  • Debit card refunds return to your bank account
  • PayPal refunds return to your PayPal account

What's Refunded

  • ✓ Product price
  • ✓ Original shipping costs (if return is due to our error)
  • ❌ Return shipping costs (unless return is due to our error)

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only a partial refund may be granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Items missing accessories or components
  • Items with damaged packaging (not due to shipping)
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item:

  1. Return your original item following the process above
  2. Once your return is approved and refund processed
  3. Place a new order for the item you want

This ensures you get the item you want as quickly as possible.

Damaged or Defective Items

Received a Damaged Item?

If your item arrives damaged:

  1. Inspect immediately upon delivery
  2. Take photos of the damage (box and contents)
  3. Contact us within 48 hours at aradhevx@gmail.com
  4. Provide: Order number, photos, description of damage
  5. Do NOT discard packaging materials

We'll work with you to resolve the issue quickly, either through replacement or refund.

Defective Item?

If your item is defective:

  • Within 30 days: Contact us for a return and refund
  • After 30 days: Contact the manufacturer for warranty service

Wrong Item Received

If we sent you the wrong item:

  1. Contact us immediately at aradhevx@gmail.com
  2. Provide your order number and photos of the item received
  3. We'll arrange for the correct item to be sent
  4. We'll provide a prepaid return label for the wrong item

We apologize for any inconvenience and will make it right!

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If you're located in the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. The same conditions apply as our standard return policy - items must be in the same condition as received, unworn/unused, with tags, and in original packaging.

Restocking Fees

We generally do not charge restocking fees for returns that meet all eligibility requirements. However, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply if:

  • Item shows signs of use
  • Original packaging is damaged (not due to shipping)
  • Accessories or components are missing
  • Item is returned outside the 30-day window
